Happy Tuesday, fellow readers! Welcome to the first blog of October! Can you believe it's spooky month already?! I am excited. I am also excited to bring you a two for Tuesday! This week we have the book club pick a delightful paranormal romance novella called Twisted by RA Winter and a thrilling YA (young adult) adventure called When Life Gives You Legends by Luna Ryder.

This is a fun one. If you've read my other reviews of RA, you may know that I adore her and her work. Twisted is no exception. If you are a fan of body swapping and paranormal romance you will love this novella. It is faced paced as novellas tend to be but RA does a wonderful job at world building and character development. She packs a punch in just a few short chapters.
I have to give her mad props for pulling off a successful body swap. I was able to follow the story easily and wasn't wondering who was who. Even a romance as body swapped people didn't confuse me. What a writing challenge! Well done!

As always, RA provides beautiful details to this story.
It had to be so difficult to write this! A male werewolf and a female vampire switch bodies. It is so well done. I was able to follow the swap and understand who was looking at who and who was speaking.
Short and sweet. I absolutely adored it.

Okay, as you can see this is a clean one. It is young adult so even your tweens and teens can read it. If you have a D&D fan, all the better! There will be a D&D campaign coming out to go along with When Life Gives You Legends.
Luna does a fabulous job at bringing a wonderful cast of characters and building a world that you'd love to get immersed in. There is action, adventure, heartache, friendships, fueds, magic, and love. It is one of those that I just could not put down!

When Life Gives You Legends is my first book by Luna Ryder and I must say that I'm a fan! If you love adventure books, you will adore this book! The characters are beautifully written and the world building is fantastic. Tilda is complicated and wonderful. I couldn't help but root for her. I can not wait to see what this rag tag group of adventurers gets into on their quest. Book one does leave off on a cliff hanger, but we are assured by Luna that book two will pick up right where book one leaves off. I can't wait to read more! If you love all types of D&D style characters and a great adventure be sure to pick this one up.
