Happy Tuesday, fellow readers! For my fellow Americans, Happy Thanksgiving! This week, I went digging to find some Thanksgiving reads. I know it can be a busy time so we have 2 bite sized recommendations that you can easily fit in to this time of year. Let's jump in!
The first recommendation is a quick little horror short story called "Horror You Crave: The Thanksgiving Monster" by Julio Miranda.
We'll start as always with the trigger warnings.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Clean
Trigger warnings:
Poverty
Death
Monster
This one truly is bite sized. It is gritty, dark, and unique. The level of detail on the monster, especially for a short story, is fantastic. I love that it is unexpected. I don't want to spil anything though. Be sure to grab it.
Here is my official review:
Unique and interesting.
"Thanksgiving Monster" is a super quick gritty, dark, and gory story. It explores poverty at Thanksgiving. The monster is so different. It's a unique little bite of horror. I love it.
If you want to meet this freaky and interesting monster, grab it here: https://a.co/d/fC1dKPZ
On to the second recommendation. We have a paranormal romance centered around Thanksgiving called "A Blizzard Plane Crash Thanksgiving" by Lisa Daniels.
First, the triggers.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶
Triggers:
Plane crash
Injuries
Fighting
Death
Sexual content
Explicit language
This little slice of romance is action packed and fast paced. I love paranormal romance so this one was up my alley with a witch and an alpha wolf shifter.
Amanda has a tragic past and an average but not great present. Micah has a tragic past and an uncertain present with threats lurking around the corner. Brought together by a plane a crash, it's interesting and sweet to see their relationship develop.
The story is fast paced and interesting to read. The world building is great. I would love to explore Frost Mountain, if I wouldn't get stuck there that is.
Here is my official review:
A story of tragedy, magic, and love.
Amanda's story is tragic and when she crashes, quite literally, into Micah's life she finds another survivor like herself. The story is interesting and fast paced. The world building is great. Overall, a great paranormal romance set around Thanksgiving.

That does it for me for this week, dear readers. Please join me again next week for another wonderful book recommendation. Until then, curl up with a good book.
