Happy Tuesday, fellow readers! Welcome! Thank you for joining me today. This week, I happen to have another double feature for you. This week, we have an omegaverse book and a YA, young adult, adventure.
Let's start with our first book, "The Omega Project" by Roxy Collins. Before we get to the triggers, I just want to say happy release day to Roxy! It's a pleasure to be writing about this wonderful book on It's first day out in the wild.

Alright! Let's dive right in! I can not gush enough about Roxy Collins and the Billionaires in Heat Series. I love omegaverse and especially the world that Roxy creates. "The Omega Project" is the last in the series, however it can be read as a stand alone. The only thing you won't pick up on, if you haven’t read previous books, are the characters from previous books making appearances.
This one brings us a new female main character, Emily. She's sweet. She's interesting. She's intelligent. She's hard working. She's been hurt. Roxy's ability to bring us fully realized characters shines once again in this book. I feel like I could bump into Emily at a book store or meet her sister in the hospital. I absolutely love that.
Then, there are the men. Whoo. The smoking hot men. A professor, a billionaire, an ex military badass, an omega to alpha switch, and the beta bestie. They are such a wonderful mix! The chemistry is fantastic amongst them. As always, there are plots running in the background that make the story flow beautifully and add interest beyond the romance.
Here is my official review:
Ah! It feels so good to be back in the Billionaires in Heat world! Thank you, Roxy Collins, for this wonderful series! Emily is a wonderful female main character. I love that she's "the weird bee girl." It makes her so unique. Of course, her men are smoking! The spice, like always, is oh so nice. I love the Switcheroo Book Club, too. What a fantastic book.
With that, I bid a very fond ado to The Billionaires in Heat Series. Thank you for the amazing ride. If you would would like to meet Emily and the guys, you can get "The Omega Project" here: https://a.co/d/fv95h5Q
Now, on to our second selection. Did you read "When Life Gives You Legends" by Luna Ryder? If so, you will be excited to know that our second book is the sequel to it. It is called "That’s the Way the Castle Crumbles".
First, the trigger warnings.

Trigger Warnings:
Imprisonment
Fighting
Death
Mentions of religion
Since it is a young adult book, it shouldn't be surprising that the trigger warnings list is short. It is a wonderful adventure book right out of a Dungeons and Dragons campaign that is great for teens to adults.
I absolutely adore Tilda Quickthatch and her rag tag group of misfit wannabe adventurers. "That’s the Way the Castle Crumbles" is truly a book two. It has all the feeling of the midway point in an adventure. The group was assembled and set out in book one. Now we get to see them struggle and deal with unexpected situations. We get to see them change and grow and become a real team.
Luna does a magnificent job with bringing us different and interesting characters as well as developing those characters throughout the story. I love that I'm still learning new things about Tilda and not just the "kids" in her party.
The world is expanding as they travel and Luna is amazing at depicting it all. I also love that she brought in dragons. I absolutely love dragons! I obviously won't spoil it by saying too much, but I had to gush about dragons.
Here is my official review:
A perfect sequel.
What a fantastic middle book for this trilogy! It feels like a real adventure with all of the delays and surprises that one should expect on such a venture. I especially love the character growth and how this rag tag group finally started shaping up into real heros. I love that there are dragons. They are my favorite. I can not wait for book three! Go Team Tilda!
As I said in my review, I can not wait for book three which is due out in April 2025. In the meantime be sure to catch up Tilda and crew. "That’s the Way the Castle Crumbles" launches on 1/16/2025. You can find it here: https://a.co/d/g3eH94j
Whew! What wonderful launches this week, dear readers! I hope that you enjoy them both. Please join me again next week for more great book recommendations. Until then, curl up with a good book.
