Happy Tuesday, fellow readers! I hope that everyone is doing well. It's good to be back! I apologize for missing a week, but I promise it's worth the wait! One of the books that I was reading is a fabulously smutty paranormal romance novella, called "The Dragon King's Awakening," by the phenomenal Ophelia Bell. Let's dive in!
But first, the trigger warnings.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Trigger Warnings:
Sexual dominance
Detailed spicy scenes
MM/MFM
There isn't anything too crazy in this, but it definitely brings Ophelia's trademark spice. If you aren't into very descriptive sex scenes then her books aren't your cup of tea. If you love the smut and you love dragons then you don't want to miss this one.
I can not even begin to tell you how excited I was to receive the e-mail that Ophelia had an ARC ready and even more so when I discovered that it was in one of her fantastic dragon filled worlds. "The Dragon King's Awakening" takes place here on Earth but in a world where certain humans are now connected to the higher races and are fated mates to them.
Each book in this world is addicting, exciting, and oh so spicy. The characters are always amazing and the world building is impeccable. This time, Ophelia brings us Rachel and two hunky dragons named Finn and Zahraxis. Usually the epic ever present background plot interrupts the love story in some dramatic way, which adds to the thrill of the story, so I was pleasantly surprised that the characters had more time to develop their love story first. It was a refreshing choice, and I love it.
Here is my official review:
Beautiful and perfectly steamy.
I was so excited to have another dragon book from Ophelia Bell! I absolutely love the worlds that she creates. I was so excited to be back in a familiar world but meeting new characters as another member of the bloodline finds her fated mates. I absolutely love Zahraxis and my heart ached for him in Egypt. It is a wonderful paranormal romance that doesn't lack in spicy scenes.
The changes of location in this book are fantastic. I always love going on a trip in a book. Zahraxis brings in the extra element of merging ancient Egypt with the modern day Egypt. My heart did ache for him though, as I mentioned in my review. He's definitely a must meet character.
If you'd like to meet Rachel, Finn, Zahraxis, and all the other wonderful characters, you can find "The Dragon King's Awakening" here: https://a.co/d/g78ng3E
That does it for me this week, dear readers. Please join me again next week for another of the books that I was reading while I was away. Until then, curl up with a good book.
