Happy Tuesday, fellow readers! We are 13 days in to 2026. Are you still typing/writing 2025? I just did it today... again. I atleast realized it right away and fixed it, though. This week's recommendation is a fabulous bridge into the new year, as it is a continuation of a series. I'm excited to bring you another unconventional paranormal omegaverse romance called "Stolen Promise" by Katherine St Vincent. It is coming out this week on January 15th.

Before we dive in, let's start with the trigger warnings.

I was beyond excited when the invitation to read this beauty came through. If you've followed the blog for a bit, you'll have seen that I have read and reviewed the previous books in this series. All along, I have been fascinated by Lord Stryker and hoping for his foretold omega to finally arrive. This is that book!! Well, it's the start of it as there will be a second novel.

Lord Stryker is just as handsome, charming, and protective as I knew he would be! All along we've gotten little bits of him, small interactions. He gets to really start to shine in this book. Of course, he's not alone. Versie Deleon isn't a perfect shiny omega, but she has a heart of gold, and her arrival into House Stryker is far from a fairytale scenario. However, everything is clicking into place as it should.

"Stolen Promise" brings in some darker themes and unlike the previous books it will be continued in the next book. I am here for every moment, and I absolutely can not wait for the next one! Although you can technically read this one without having read the prior books, I would recommend starting at the beginning so you can build up the anticipation and get to know all of the other fabulous characters who appear in the book.

Here is my official review:

Finally!! The long awaited omega match for Lord Stryker! Throughout the series, I have been itching for more of Kestrel Stryker and for his long wait for his omega to come to an end. Versie is so humble and sweet but trouble isn't far behind. I am so invested in Kestrel and Versie's story! I can not wait for the next book.

If you have been waiting for Lord Stryker's story too, you can get it here: https://a.co/d/2Qu2j2a

It officially releases on Thursday.

That does it for me for this week, dear readers. Please join me again next week for another wonderful recommendation. Until then, curl up with a good book.
