"SauraCorps: Salvation" is the sequel to "Dino-Rift." I have to say that I loved it just as much if not even more than the original! There is just something about a great young adult book. It re-energizes me. Do you know what I mean? Sometimes as readers, we can get stuck in a genre and it takes something different to shake us out of it. The young adult genre can that for me if it's the right book. This was the right book.

If you enjoy corny humor, the male main character, Kam, has it in spades. I am so here for it! I love his nerdy, cringy puns. His devotion to his girlfriend, the female main character, Viv, is so sweet. Like the first book, the love story is there throughout the second book, but it doesn't overshadow the action and adventure.

"SauraCorps: Salvation" is definitely a page a turner. It has action, adventure, young love, twists and turns, and of course, dinosaurs. One of my favorite new characters is Phrodo the dodo. He is such a hilarious and wonderful animal character. I want a dodo now. I think that once you meet Phrodo, that you'll agree with me. I love everything he brings to the story. I adore the story overall.

Here is my official review:

Jurassic Park meets Spy Kids & Lost

If I could give this ten stars, I would! I absolutely adore Derek Borne's writing style, and I love the Dino-Rift series. Kam and Viv are fantastic characters. Their growth throughout book two is fabulous to witness, especially Viv. My favorite new character is Phrodo. I want a dodo now. The humor sprinkled liberally throughout is so corny and fantastic. If you are looking for action, adventure, humor, dinosaurs, and young love, then "SauraCorps: Salvation" is your book.

If you haven’t read "Dino-Rift" yet, definitely go grab it so that you can dive into "SauraCorps: Salvation". If you have already met the wonderful world of book one, you can pick up book two here: https://a.co/d/aeoIF3F

Also, be on the lookout for the new spinoff that is coming out in April! You can pre-order the Primeval Ranch ebook for only $0.99. https://a.co/d/hWw2fWN

That is it for me this week, dear readers. I hope that you enjoyed this week's selection and will join me again next week. Until then, curl up with a good book.
