Ophelia Bell Two For Tuesday

Happy Tuesday fellow readers. It is the last week of June! Can you believe it?! To mark the occasion, I am doing a two for Tuesday. This week I am excited to bring to you one of my favorite paranormal authors, Ophelia Bell.

I absolutely love her writing style and she brings the spice! 🌶🌶🌶 Plus, dragons! I love dragons. She just recently revised and re-released a series that was originally part of another author's world. The first two books of the Arcturus Champions Series will be our focus today.

Before we start we have to get the formalities out of the way. Ophelia doesn't have a lot of triggers in her books so I'll do them both in one warning.

See, that was easy! If you love shifters and you love spice then Ophelia is an author for you. Let's start with Book 1, Heart of the Bear Champion.

I can not rave enough about the world building and character building skills of this author. Here she introduces us to the Arcturus Nebula, the Champions, and a shifter dating agency with a 100% accuracy rate. I love the story of Nessa and Gaius. There is age gap here that it is brought up but it isn't a big deal to the couple. It builds up beautifully and of course we get a HEA, happily ever after. It definitely will leave you craving more. If you are a smut/spice fan, you will love this series. Ophelia is a master of the spicy scenes. You'll need a cold shower! It's that hot!

Book 2 is Bond of the Dragon Champions.

The great thing about it being a series is that you get recurring characters and things are set in the same amazing world. Ophelia brings us Ignazio and Bryer known as the Hot Wings duo and the reigning Arcturus Champions. We met them in book one and they get their own story in this book. Nessa and Gaius return as well as the oracle match maker Liora. The treat is a new fmc, Pomona. I absolutely fell in love with this chef and her wonderful recipes. I so want all of those recipes! In Earth ingredients of course. Haha. The heat is doubled in this fantastic book and I loved every page.

I devoured both books quickly and I couldn't put either of them down. They are absolutely fantastic. They are quick reads with one coming in under 200 pages and the second barely over the 200 mark. Despite the shorter page count, Ophelia packs a beyond satisfying amount of detail into each book.
