It's a lighter spice with some dark themes by a brand new author. I am so excited to introduce to you Mating With Mothman by Mr. J. This is his debut novel.

Alright, if you are still with me let's get to the good stuff!

Mating With Mothman is a paranormal romance. As you see by the triggers, it has quite a few dark themes. Mr. J. does a wonderful job at character development and there is a lot going on with plots and backstories.  He makes it easy to follow through a third person perspective.  The small town feel is great and the dense forest is just where you think you'd find a mothman.

The ending is a bit unusual, and I'd love to see that beefed up and changed a bit but it is still good especially for a first book. Despite the dark themes, Mr. J manages to keep a lighter air to the book. Though this is a paranormal romance with a monster, you will not find monster peen. Sorry smut lovers. The spice is a bit basic but pretty well done. Due to the amount of sexual scenarios and the rape scenes, it ranked the three pepper spice level.

It swept me away. It made me chuckle, cringe, swoon, worry, get angry, feel relief, and release a satisfied sigh at the end. The characters are well written and the plots and backstories are in depth. There is a little room for betterment as there is with most works, but it is great as it is. He brings some spice and some dark themes, so check those trigger warnings. Though this is a mothman story and transformation is a big part of the book, there isn't an unusual peen. Just a heads up for those monster lovers who look for that. It is hard to put down for sure! I wonder if there will be a sequel? I definitely look forward to more from Mr. J.
