If you are still with me, you will love this novella. Lily starts off at her family home in a fault zone in California, US in the year 2023. The mention of masks and Covid really bring it to reality. The transition to an alternate Earth is wonderfully done and the world building is fantastic as always. The characters are so well done. I absolutely adore Lily. She is a survivor and a warrior.

A rift between worlds. A deranged doctor. Brutal medical experiments. Wings. A dragon.

There is so much to love in this novella.

Angelina delivers a serious punch in this short work. It is packed full of darkness, action, romance, lighter moments, character growth, and humor. I love the relationship between Lily and Alistair. I would definitely read another book set in this world.
