Happy Tuesday, fellow readers! Welcome back for another wonderful book recommendation. This week instead of another romance, as one would expect with Valentine's Day coming up, I have a little respite from the lovey dovey for you. I am pleased to bring you an intriguing murder mystery called "Hoard It All Before" by Tammie Painter.

First, the trigger warnings.

Trigger warnings:

Affairs/cheating

Alcohol use

Tobacco use

Poisoning

Murder

Like most murder mysteries, the trigger warnings aren't too crazy. I absolutely love the unconventionality of this book. As you may have guessed from the title, there is a dragon. I can't tell you how excited I am about that. I love dragons and to have a dragon as not only the main character but the narrator, as well, was beyond a treat! A gigantic thank you to Tammie for that choice. I love Duncan.

The book takes place in a traveling circus, and it has so many fabulous characters. From Fergus the womanizing chain smoking unicorn, to Benny the smelly but gentle behemoth, to Cordelia the new hire and aspiring dragon trainer, to everything in between. I absolutely adore them all!

The twists, the turns, the clues, it's all so gripping. I loved following along with Duncan and discovering the clues along with him and putting the pieces together along the way. Tammie did a fabulous job with this mystery.

Here is my official review.

What a delightfully different murder mystery!

I absolutely love dragons, and I love murder mysteries. Imagine my delight to find that a dragon is the main character of this murder mystery. I adore Duncan and his banter with Cordelia. The cast of characters is colorful and fantastic. It's everything that I imagined an unusual creature circus would be and more.

I am so pleased to report that there are more books with Duncan and all of the fantastic characters. So, if you are ready to meet them, you can get "Hoard It All Before" here: https://a.co/d/0cvNfhPW

That does it for me for this week, dear readers. Please join me again next week for another wonderful recommendation. Until then, curl up with a good book.
