Do You Want a Talking Otter, Because I Do?!

Hello fellow readers! Thank you for joining me here for my first ever book blog post.

As, I mentioned on the main page, I fell in love with reading when I was very young and taught myself to read at age 3 by memorizing the books that were read to me. My love of literature just continued to grow over the years. I have been reading and reviewing under my nickname Jet for years. Over the last few months, I have been accumulating a list of authors that I advance read for. I also have had the good fortune of joining a Support an Author event run by Angelina Kerner. In this two-month event I have become even more enamored with independent authors and with her encouragement here I am.

So, I would like to start by further discussing her book Soul Searcher.

Soul Searcher is a cute novella. It involves tarot card reading, magic, lost souls, mermaids, adventure, and a talking otter. Theo, the otter is absolutely fantastic and now you know why I want a talking otter. Angelina does a great job at developing fun characters and a magical underwater world. The shorter length of the book did not keep her from bringing in superb detail to this world that she created. There is a budding relationship with Zara, the main character, that I sincerely hope that will get its own book in the future. My only critique is that I want more!
