Happy Tuesday, fellow readers! Can you believe that it's December already? It's a busy time for many of us, and I haven't had as much time to read as I would have liked. With time crunches in mind, I have a steamy fairytale retelling novella for you called "Curse of Beauty's Crime" by Johnna Dee. It's a perfect spicy morsel that you can fit in anytime and it released today. Happy book release day to Johnna!

Before we dive in, let's start with the trigger warnings.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🌶🌶🌶

Triggers:

Explicit language

Sexual content

Interspecies erotica

Fighting

Death

If you came to the realization that Beauty was willing to be with Beast in his beastly form, and you were good with that, then you'll love this novella.

Johnna brings us a fabulously strong female main character shaped by tragedy. She's the opposite of Belle in several ways which is an interesting twist. Likewise, the beast character is opposite of the traditional character in multiple instances.

My other favorite aspect is an unexpected side character who happens to get hangry. I chuckled several time at this character's antics.

Of course, the novella is not lacking in spice. I gave it 3 peppers in my review due mainly to the interspecies aspect that comes into play. The scenes are well done and from both perspective, which is different and intriguing.

The story itself is interesting, different, twisty, and will keep ypu turning page after page.

Here is my official review:

A fabulous twist on Beauty and the Beast.

It's the same love story with darker twists and the smut that we romance readers crave. Leni is a strong character with a tragic life, and she meets her match in Alaric. It's a perfect blend of overcoming hardships, romance, and spice. And, it's bite-sized, so you can quickly read it again and again!

If you are ready to meet Leni and Alaric, you can get "Curse of Beauty's Crime" here:

That does it for me for this week, dear readers. Please join me again next week. Until then, curl up with a good book.
