It's Tuesday again, fellow readers! Thank you so much for joining me. We are continuing with our book club club picks. For week 5, the book is a witchy romance called The Girl of His Dreams by Megan Kuykendall.

First let's get the triggers out of the way.

Trigger Warnings:

Mentions of sex

Dream walking

Demon

Witches

Mention of dead loved ones

Now that is out of the way, we can dig in. This is a super quick read. It's a bit more of a traditional friends to lovers super sweet novella. It is not my usual style, but I did enjoy it.

Megan does a good job bringing delightful main characters and a cast of interesting side characters. It's a bit harder to review these shorter novellas without spoilers. I'd love to delve into the side characters, but I don't want to ruin anything!

There are a few mildly spicy moments, a little bit of suspense with Seth, the demon, and a good dose of sweetness. If you like it short and sweet, this one is for you.

Here is my official review:

Quick and sweet.

The Girl of His Dreams is a super sweet short novella. The two main characters are straightforward and cute. If you want a quick cutesy romance to break you out of a slump or to cleanse your palette between books this one is perfect.

If you are craving that sweetness, you can get The Girl of His Dreams here:

That does it for me for this week, dear readers. Thank you for joining me. Be sure to check back next week to see what the book club has been reading. In the meantime, curl up with a good book.
