Happy Tuesday, fellow readers!
Is it warming up where you are? It's finally getting warm here in my patch of Pennsylvania. I love seeing the greenery and the flowers. Now the allergies on the other hand...not so much. Luckily, I have the perfect paranormal romance to help any allergy blues. This week's selection is a re-released novella called Blood Kissed by the fabulous Angelina Kerner.
First, the trigger warnings.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶
Trigger Warnings/tropes:
Fake marriage
Mean jokes/torture
Alcohol consumption
Brief sexual encounters
As to be expected with Angelina, the novella is lighter with just a tiny hint of darkness. The humor and banter is fantastic and I especially love the antics between Tiffany, the female main character, and the three sisters. That's where a bit of the darkness makes an appearance but nothing too bad.
Angelina brings amazing characters to life. She absolutely delivers again with Tiffany and her cat Cosmos along with Caith, Rae, and a whole cast of other colorful characters. I couldn't help but falling in love with them.
The great world building that Angelina is known for is not lacking either. From a vast mansion to a lovely vineyard to overseas. You absolutely get to go on a trip in this novella and it's delightful.
Here is my official review:
When a not so ordinary beautiful human woman makes a deal with a handsome vampire the fake marriage takes on a life of it's own. Angelina Kerner works her magic once again to bring us another fantastic couple in Tiffany and Caith. I adore the other interesting characters including Tiffany's cat, Cosmos. It kept me hooked from beginning to end. It is an absolutely wonderful paranormal romance novella.
I could read a whole series about Tiffany and Caith and of course Cosmos. I hope that you'll love them as much as I do. When you are ready to meet them you can get "Blood Kissed" here: https://a.co/d/3nsSK2Z
That does it for me for this week, dear readers. Please join me again next time. Until then, curl up with a good book.
