Happy Tuesday, fellow readers! Can you believe it's almost the end of May already?! Where did it go?! It'll be summer in no time. To get that adventurous summer spirit going, I have the perfect book for you. It is a young adult adventure called "Bard to the Bone" by Luna Ryder.

First, the trigger warnings.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Clean

Trigger warnings:

Mentions of death

Past and current trauma

Intense scenes

Blood

Fighting

Magic use

Though it is clean, there are romantic themes throughout, just to make you aware. I feel it only adds to the plot and character growth, which is fantastic.

Now, on to the book! "Bard to the Bone" is the end of the Tilda Quickthatch trilogy. This is both satisfying and sad. It is always sad to see a book series end, but at the same time it is so gratifying to get to that sweet ending. I was beyond thrilled to meet back up with Tilda and her ragtag group of adventurers.

Book three brought about a lot of growth in each of the characters and in the group as a whole. Luna Ryder truly brought depth to each and every character. Each character is brought to life with love and so much detail. It's absolutely fantastic. Well done, Luna!

This book really puts your emotions through the proverbial wringer. I was excited, scared, worried, elated, horrified, angry, happy, sad, and satisfied. I may have even missed some, but that gives you an idea of the emotional roller-coaster that is "Bard to the Bone."

Here is my official review:

Bard to the Bone, indeed!

This book is bad@$$! Luna Ryder spared no emotional expense on the third and final book of the Tilda Quickthatch Series. I laughed, I cried, I "awwed", and I couldn't get enough. There are very few books that I ever go back and read again as I'm always on to something new. This is a series I'd like to read again. The journey told within these pages is an epic one, and I am honored that I got to go along for the ride.

If you haven’t started your journey yet with Tilda, Calina, Rurik, and Tulip, now is a great time to binge all three books! If you are ready to read book three, you can find "Bard to the Bone" here: https://a.co/d/8vjVk1E

That does it for me for this week, dear readers. Please join me again next week for another wonderful book recommendation. Until then, curl up with a good book.
