Happy Tuesday, fellow readers. My love goes out to those dealing with the hurricanes and the damage and loss of life that comes along with them. Big virtual hugs to those affected and positive thoughts and energies being sent for safety with Hurricane Milton incoming.

To those of you looking for a good book distraction, I have a sweet little spicy treat for you this week. The book club just finished reading a paranormal romance called Baking Between the Pages by MA Destiny which releases today! Happy release day MA!!

Let's start with the trigger warnings.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🌶🌶

Trigger Warnings:

Profanity

Sex

Poly relationship

Same sex relationship

Loss of a parent

Brief mention of drunk driving

Witches

Now that is out of the way, we can dive in.

Baking Between the Pages is neat as it is the second novella in a collaboration series called Hexes and Ohs. The series is comprised of five books by five different authors. Each novella can be read as a stand alone. I find that really cool.

The story is set in a witch coven run town called Briar Glen. MA does a splendid job with world building especially with the book store. I think that was my absolute favorite place. The three main characters are well written as well. I love the instant attraction. The familiars are a neat addition as well. It was cool to read about different familiars than just your usual black cats, ravens, or owls.

There isn't really an underlying plot with this one. It's just a short, spicy, and sweet romance which is totally okay if you are just in the mood for a little heat and a little sweet.

Here is my official review:

Sweet, spicy, and satisfying.

Baking Between the Pages is a short, sweet, spicy treat that will leave you satisfied. All three main characters are sexy and go so well together. I adore the book store!! I want one!! It's every book lovers dream to be immersed in the world of their book while reading it and Brookhaven bookstore offers just that very experience. I love the town, the coven, the bakery, and the side characters too, especially the adorable familiars. I absolutely adored it.

If you are looking for a quick paranormal romance definitely give Baking Between the Pages a try.

It's out today!! Pick it up here:

That's it for me for this week, fellow readers. Please join me again next week for another book club pick. Until then, curl up with a good book.
