Backstabbed and Bitchslapped

Happy Tuesday, fellow readers and happy February! It's still freezing here in Pennsylvania. So, if you are cold like me, you'll enjoy a bit of spice to warm you up. This week's recommendation should do the trick. It's an unconventional motorcycle club (MC) romance called "Backstabbed and Bitchslapped" by Dani Carr.

Okay, now that's out of the way, let's get started. I love the title of this book! It drew me in right away. I know, I know...don't judge a book by it's cover. But, we totally do sometimes, don't we? I am happy to report that this one was just as intriguing and different as it's cover.

Our amazing FMC for this book is Anemone aka Nem. She endured so much all at once, and my heart absolutely broke for her. I absolutely love how she comes into her own throughout the story.

Now the heat. We have so many hunky guys to choose from! There's Jax, her sexy and sweet friend. Chase Potter, the hotter than sin cowboy who she's crushed on since she was a teen. Gabriel Taylor, the hot lawyer who is taken with her despite representing those wanting to buy her property. Then there is Dominic aka Dom, the big bad hotter than hell twin who runs the Dragon Drillers MC, and his identical twin Elijah aka Eli. So many hotties!

The story is twisty and there are so many hardships. It kept me hooked from beginning to end. I absolutely loved every second, even the ones that made me want to jump into the pages and punch someone. It does leave off on a cliffhanger, so it'll definitely leave you begging for that next book.

"Backstabbed and Bitchslapped" drew me in with it's title and kept me hooked all the way to the end. Now, I need more! Anemone is as unique as her name and surrounded by hotties. I love her and Potter and so many of the other characters. I have to get the next book!
