Happy Tuesday, fellow readers! School is out and summer is on the way! It has still be raining here, however the temperature is starting to rise. Which fits right along with this week's book, Alpha Daddy by R.K. Pierce. If you like Omegaverse books, keep reading to check this one out.

First, the trigger warnings.

Trigger Warnings and tropes:

Omegaverse

Age gap

Knotting

Omega heat

Violence

Daddy/baby nicknames

Mentions of mental/physical abuse

Mentions of loss of a partner

R.K. does a brilliant job with character development in "Alpha Daddy." Jessa is amazing. She's been through so much, but she's strong and fighting to be independent. Alessandro has overcome a devastating loss and has built a business while maintaining continuous control over his alpha instincts. Pair that with his sexy silver fox looks and he's one dynamic character.

Normally an Omegaverse means a pack dynamic, but while this one mentions prior packs, the two main characters are not "packed up." The author does note this is a MF Omegaverse book, so it isn't a spoiler for me to tell you guys that. Just in case you are looking for a pack dynamic. It is very well written, so I didn't even miss the group scenes.

"Alpha Daddy" is a real page turner. I simply could not put it down. I was invested in the story, the characters, and the spice. Here is my official review:

This book is so easy to get lost in.

A swoonworthy successful silver fox of an alpha and a broken but determined pretty omega make for a fabulously spicy story. I love the build up and the characters. I enjoy when an author gives characters a deep back story like R.K. Pierce does in "Alpha Daddy." I felt the attraction between the two main characters, and I just couldn't put it down.

That does it for me for this week, dear readers. If you missed last week, you'll definitely want to go check that post for Wormfood and get in on the chance to win one of four wonderful prizes. The contest ends on June 16th. Also, join me again next week for another wonderful recommendation. Until then, curl up with a good book.
