Happy Tuesday, fellow readers and happy last day of June! The month has absolutely flown by. If you are here in the United States, we are gearing up for our 250th Independence Day celebration. While we wait to celebrate, we need a good book, right? I have just the thing. This week's book recommendation is a fantasy adventure called "Ava's Legacy of the Dragons" by Jenny Swan.
Let's step right in, but first, the trigger warnings.

Trigger Warnings:
Mentions of death/Murder

Orphans
Kidnapping
I adore a good dragon book so this one had me intrigued right away. I love the cover. It's simple but still draws you in. Dragons play a large role in the book, however, they don't overshadow the FMC's story.
Ava is an intriguing FMC. She has a very mysterious past and trauma that comes along with that past. However, she has built a quiet life with Helen, who took her in as a child. This lends to the soft spot that she eventually develops for a street smart orphan named Lilly. Add in a handsome dragon fighter named Kilian, a devoted man named Marcus, and plenty of interesting characters along the way and you have an amazing story.
The world building in this series is neat as it's a realm hidden within our own world. Jenny has developed a rich history for the realm as well as a prophecy that shapes the current world. It's a well rounded story with a smattering of romance that is just enough to keep you hungry for more.
Here is my official review.
Adventure, forbidden love, and dragons!
Ava is such an interesting FMC. I love that we get to discover this new world, magic, dragons, and secrets with her. The characters are interesting, and the world building is good. I absolutely can't wait to read more.
That does it for me for this week, dear readers. Please join me again next week for another wonderful recommendation. Until then, curl up with a good book.
